ATTENTION DEBIT CARD USERS

Data breaches from different merchants seem to be on the news weekly. CPFCU management and staff take these breaches very seriously. The credit union’s goal is to protect you, our member and keep this convenient service. When we get a “Potential Compromise Listing” and your debit card is listed we will do the following:

  • Review account history for fraudulent transactions
  • Reorder a new debit card for you
  • Send a letter with the existing card number and explanation
  • Close your existing card immediately or after 10 business days

Your responsibility
Verify your account transactions continuously (Using Home Banking or Auto Teller) Contact us when you receive your new Debit Card

FRAUD WATCH PLUS This is a service provided by us. Someone from the “call center” may contact you for transaction verification. If they cannot contact you, they will temporarily Block your card until the transaction is confirmed. This number should be listed in your cell phone under FWP (1-866-842-5208). Only call if they have contacted you.

DISPUTE PROCESSING CENTER 1-866-987-1457

If you see any unusual transactions on your account history, and you didn’t authorize it, you must call them. This is NOT TO BE USED for purchases you are unhappy with. If you have a dispute with a merchant, you must contact that merchant directly not the dispute processing center.
